CHELSEA are plotting a summer swoop for highly-rated Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko — according to the player’s agent.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave German side Wolfsburg in the summer, with AC Milan favourites to land him.
But the Blues have emerged as new contenders for his services and boss Carlo Ancelotti is rumoured to be following the 23-year-old’s progress.
Dzeko has hit 41 goals in 77 games for Wolfsburg and helped them clinch the Bundesliga title last season.
His form has attracted the interest of a host of Europe’s biggest sides, including Arsenal and Manchester City.
But his representative, Silvano Martina, confirmed a move to Stamford Bridge could tempt Dzeko.
Martina said: “I can confirm that Milan really like the player. They are the club showing most interest.
“But attention must be paid to Chelsea as the Blues are following Dzeko.”
