In midfield, 18-year-old Nathan Ake makes only his second start alongside Frank Lampard, with Ramires playing in a more advanced role wide on the right.

With Juan Mata and Eden Hazard both starting on the bench, there are opportunities for Yossi Benayoun and Victor Moses, while Fernando Torres starts up front.
