Chelsea and Arsenal square off on Sunday afternoon, in what is shaping up to be a thrilling match-up between the two fierce London rivals.

Both sides will have strong squads to pick from for the big match, and here’s four key battles that could be pivotal in deciding the outcome of Sunday’s game…

4. Eden Hazard vs Héctor Bellerín

Eden Hazard looks like he might be ready to return to the starting lineup for Chelsea on Sunday, after a putting in a string of tantalising cameo appearances in recent matches as he continues his recovery from pre-season ankle surgery. 

The talismanic Belgian is one of the most gifted forwards in the game, and could cause Arsenal real problems in this game. Héctor Bellerín is one of the few Premier League defenders with the pace to match that of the 26-year-old, and will certainly be in for a busy afternoon.

Bossing the midfield will be crucial in this match, and the match-up between Granit Xhaka and N’Golo Kante looks set to be a fascinating battle.

Xhaka has the physical attributes to shut Kante down, but his lack of discipline could prove costly in such a fiercely contested match.

Kante was the PFA Player of the Year for a reason last season, and his ability to break up the play, as well as forge attacking moves, could see Xhaka chasing shadows for much of the game.
