Picking the Best Potential Chelsea Lineup to Play Newcastle on Saturday

?Chelsea welcome Newcastle to Stamford Bridge this Saturday, although Magpies manager Rafa Benitez’s welcome may not be a warm one thanks to his history with the Blues.

The west London side will be looking to continue their fine run when they face the Toon this weekend, having gone unbeaten in their last six Premier League clashes.

Here is how Antonio Conte could line his side up on Saturday lunchtime.

As always, the Belgian will start in goal for Chelsea as he faces no real competition from those around him at the club.?

Defence

?Cesar Azpilicueta was given a well-earned rest on Wednesday evening and is set to retake his place in the Blues back line.

With Conte most likely looking to rotate, Cahill will lose his place in the side and with David Luiz injured, Andreas Christensen and Wednesday night’s match winner Antonio Rudiger are set to retain their roles in the side.

?Victor Moses has been out for some time but could be in line for a starting role on Saturday ahead of Davide Zappacosta. The Nigerian featured during the week and could be ready to start, while Marcos Alonso will continue on the left-hand side.

Chelsea opted to play 3-4-3 on Wednesday against a defensive Swansea side and will likely play the same way on Saturday. Last season’s Premier League Player of the year N’Golo Kante is one of the first names on the team-sheet, while Cesc Fabregas looks set to get the nod to start next to the Frenchman in the middle.

Eden Hazard was partially rested against Swansea and is set to come back into the Chelsea side this weekend.

Alvaro Morata’s sparkling form has dropped off a little since bagging a goal and an assist against West Brom a fortnight ago, but the expensive summer signing will get just about as many chances as he needs to break his two-game Premier League drought.

Willian, meanwhile, has come off the bench to influence games in recent weeks and will likely be rewarded with a start.
