Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed Frank Lampard will be out for a number of weeks following his injury sustained against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.
The midfielder left the field early in the first half, and the manager admitted it will be a while before the 34-year-old is back in action.
‘He is going to be out for a few weeks. He’s got a calf problem, so we will miss him and it’s a big loss for us,’ Di Matteo said. ‘Apart from him everybody else is fit. Marko Marin might be in the squad for Sunday.’
