Rafael Benitez’s introductory press conference will be live on Chelsea TV from 5.30pm this evening.
The new interim first-team coach, appointed yesterday evening, will meet the media at Stamford Bridge ahead of his first game in charge against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking on his way to Cobham where he will meet the staff and players, Benitez spoke briefly about the club.
‘I think Chelsea is a top side who wants to challenge for trophies. We will think about one game at a time, and try to win the next game,’ he said.
‘The fans want the same as the manager, to win games, and we will try to do this.’
