Holders Chelsea have been drawn away to Southampton in the FA Cup third round.
The game will be played on either January 5 or 6.
We are yet to meet Nigel Adkins’s side in the Barclays Premier League this season, with our game scheduled for mid-December postponed due to our involvement in the Club World Cup. Our last meeting came in April 2005 when we were 3-1 winners at St Mary’s.
We met Southampton in the FA Cup third round in both 1977 and 1981, losing both times, while they also knocked us out in 1923 and 1924.
