Rafael Benitez has reported Petr Cech (calf) and David Luiz (ankle) will miss Wednesday’s game away at Reading.
Cech might return for the weekend visit to Newcastle but David Luiz’s fitness will be assessed in one week’s time.
Benitez confirmed Ross Turnbull will continue in goal in Cech’s absence.
