Demba Ba returns to lead the attack in a game in which Frank Lampard plays his 592nd Chelsea appearance, equalling John Hollins as third highest all-time appearance maker for the club.

It is Juan Mata’s 100th Chelsea game and the Spaniard is flanked today by Oscar and Eden Hazard. David Luiz plays in central defence alongside Branislav Ivanovic.

West Brom striker Shane Long has been passed fit and will play a lone role, with support from behind from James Morrison. Graham Dorrens and Marc-Antonie Fortune are drafted in to play in wide positions.
