John Mikel Obi, meanwhile, comes into the midfield at the expense of Ramires who hasn’t travelled.

Yossi Benayoun starts wide on the right-hand side of the supporting trio tucked in behind lone striker Fernando Torres, who starts ahead of the ineligible Demba Ba.

With Juan Mata starting on the bench, Oscar is expected to occupy a more central role.
