Jose Mourinho’s second spell in charge of Chelsea will begin with a Barclays Premier League home game against Hull City.
In what is a repeat of the 2009/10 opening-day fixture, the Blues will take on Steve Bruce’s newly-promoted side at Stamford Bridge, before playing our first away game of the season the following week at Manchester United.
The end of September sees us face successive London derbies, with the home game against Fulham on 21 September preceding an away match at Tottenham Hotspur a week later, where Mourinho will go head-to-head with a former member of his back-room staff in Andre Villas-Boas.
Swansea City are the visitors to west London on Boxing Day, while New Year’s Day sees us face a trip to take on Southampton at St Marys.
Our first meeting with Manchester City comes on 26 October at the Bridge, with the away fixture following on 1 February, while we face Arsenal for the first time four days before Christmas at the Emirates.
Our final home game of the season is against Norwich City, with the campaign drawing to a close away at Cardiff City on 11 May.
