Jose Mourinho has selected the side he named in his press conference yesterday so Wallace at right-back and Andre Schurrle on left of the attack will play their first games in a Chelsea shirt.
Tomas Kalas, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku are in action for the first time since returning from season-long loans and there is plenty of experience selected in the shape of Petr Cech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Michael Essien and Frank Lampard, who were part of the previous Mourinho era.
All rest of the travelling party are on the bench apart from Josh McEachran who has a slight groin strain and Mark Schwarzer who only joined up with the squad yesterday.
The Singha All-Stars attack is led by Brazilian Cleiton Silva who was top scorer in the Thai league last season. Thailand national captain Nattaporn Punrit is in defence.
