Make sure you get your hands on the first Chelsea matchday programme of the 2013/14 season, which celebrates 10 years of success since Roman Abramovich became owner of the club.
The programme features a wrap which has a special message to the fans from Mr Abramovich along with a montage of images, symbolising the club’s on and off-field triumphs over the last decade.
The programme, which stars Jose Mourinho on the normal cover, has also been given a complete redesign over the summer and is packed with the following new articles:
– Mourinho’s manager’s notes.
– Then and Now first-team player Q&A, starring Petr Cech in Issue One.
– Each issue we look back on the historic 1983/84 season, when the Blues romped back to the top flight by winning Division Two.
– Brand new opposition pages with all the info you could need on the visitors.
All the old favourites are there as well: in this edition, the exclusive player feature is with Kevin De Bruyne who reveals his aspirations for the season ahead in, while Peter Bonetti reflects on opening days from yesteryear in Guest Appearance.
The Insider takes fans behind the scenes on our Here to Play, Here to Stay tour of Asia; Pat Nevin discusses Hull’s tactics; Blues fanatic Alec Stewart gives his thoughts in The Last Word and we have a full run-down of the latest news from our Academy and Ladies teams.
The matchday programme is available from sellers around Stamford Bridge from 1pm, as well as in the Chelsea Megastore, priced at £3.
And, for the first time, every matchday programme this season will now be available to download digitally to view on your tablet.
