Ryan Bertrand is the latest member of the squad to face the selector, where the player is tasked with placing six subjects into the categories first, last, best, worst, easiest and hardest.
Music. When it comes to music the first group I remember listening to was Oasis. Growing up in Bermondsey they were quite a popular group around there at the time, and at our local team Millwall where my brother used to go. He liked Oasis so I got into them that way.
Holiday. My last holiday was when I went to the south of France last year, I went to St Tropez, Monaco and Cannes with a few of my friends. We watched the Grand Prix which was really enjoyable and a great experience.
Game. The best memory of my career so far is obviously starting in the Champions League final, it’s something I’ll never forget. In terms of my performance I felt I did okay but the whole experience is something I’ll always treasure.
TV. I don’t actually watch that much TV to be honest but the worst type of programmes for someone like me are things like Emmerdale or Heartbeat. I don’t even know if they’re still going but I couldn’t sit through either of those.
Training. The easiest training session for me to remember was at Chelsea, my first one here at the training ground. I just remember being involved and coming up against all these stars that I was used to seeing on TV, people that were my idols, and then all of a sudden they become your friends. To test myself against them for the first time was something I’ll never forget.
Opponent. Rather than choose an individual I’ll go for hardest opponents, and I would say Real Madrid. We played them in pre-season in America and they beat us 3-1. I just remember looking at them and thinking what a good side they were. They were really well organised and so dangerous going forward.
