The FA have announced today (Sunday) that Ashley Cole will miss England’s World Cup qualifier against Poland on Tuesday through injury.
Cole was forced to sit out Friday’s 4-1 win against Montenegro with a rib injury, and the FA confirmed via its official Twitter feed the Chelsea left-back will play no part against Poland, saying: ‘Ashley Cole will miss #England’s final Group H qualifier with Poland on Tuesday due to rib injury.’
