Frank Lampard has warned against complacency ahead of another testing away trip tomorrow afternoon.

We travel to Stoke on the back of a hard-fought victory at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night, and three points in the Potteries would represent a fourth consecutive triumph in the Premier League.

Lampard hasn’t missed a minute of our six games at the Britannia Stadium, dating back to an FA Cup tie in 2003. He is all too aware that the team must be in the right frame of mind if they are to return south with anything from the game.

‘We played really well against Sunderland,’ Lampard told Chelsea TV.

‘We had to dig in and I think we can take a lot from that performance. We have got to carry on like that.

‘A lot of that, to me, is attitude and focus. We have got the squad and we have got the players. We have to get ourselves up for every game and we have to really focus because every game is difficult these days. That’s more true than ever.

‘We’re going up to Stoke and if we go up there with the wrong attitude we won’t win, so it’s up to us.’
