Chelsea’s Under-21s play their final game of 2013 tonight (Monday) when they make the trip north to take on Bolton, looking to extended their unbeaten run to six games.
Dermot Drummy’s side most recently beat Cardiff 4-0 away in the new Under-21 Premier League Cup, having drawn 1-1 away against a strong Newcastle team in their last league outing.
They currently sit sixth in the 22-team U21 league table having played less matches than all the sides above. Tonight’s opponents are in 13th but have won their last four matches in all competitions, the most recent a 3-2 victory away at Liverpool.
Bolton Under-21s v Chelsea Under-21s kicks-off at 7pm.
