Andre Schurrle is Brazil bound having made the 23-man selection for Germany’s World Cup squad.
Joachim Low cut down his 26-strong training group following Sunday’s draw against Cameroon, in which Schurrle scored his 12th international goal, omitting Sampdoria’s Shkodran Mustafi, Borussia Dortmund’s Marcel Schmelzer and Kevin Volland from Hoffenheim.
The three-time World Cup winners play another warm-up game against Armenia on Friday before flying to Brazil where they face group games against Portugal, Ghana and the United States.
