The official Chelsea website has been asked by supporters who take care of the big blue flags seen in the stands at Chelsea games to publish the following request for a new flag design.

The request reads:

Following a successful competition run to find a design for the two overhead crowd-surfing flags that are displayed prior to the club’s home matches (pictured above), a prize of two tickets to any Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge in the 2014/2015 season is now being offered to the person who can design a flag, the dimensions of which will be 50ft by 25ft, that will be used in the Shed End Upper Tier.

In the previous competitions held to design the Matthew Harding End flags, the standard was high so please try to use the best tools available when creating a design.

The closing date for entries is Friday 1 August with the winning design chosen by a panel of judges.

Please note: No individual correspondence regarding the design selected as the winning entry will be entered into.
