The Chelsea boss asked about Manuel Pellegrini’s situation at Manchester City but responded with a veiled dig towards the Frenchman
Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Arsene Wenger by suggesting that Arsenal supporters are “disappointed” with the Frenchman’s lengthy reign.
The Chelsea manager has been criticised this week over his treatment of club medics Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn during the 2-2 draw with Swansea City last Saturday.
Carneiro and Fearn will not be on the bench on Sunday as Chelsea travel to Manchester City – last season’s runners-up in the title race.
But when asked whether he is surprised that Manuel Pellegrini remains at Manchester City following their disappointing campaign, Mourinho replied: “Why? Some other clubs are disappointed for 15 years and the manager is the same.”
