?Chelsea and Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi is refusing to let up on his gripe with EA Sports over his FIFA ratings, and promptly suggested a weak foot upgrade after helping his side defeat London rivals Arsenal on Saturday.
The former Marseille man scored two remarkable goals, adding to Willian’s opener, to give the Blues a 3-0 win over the Gunners at the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing.
Batshuayi showed he could shoot quite effortlessly with his left foot, firstly bending a strike past the Arsenal keeper to beat him on his right, and then catching Marcos Alonso’s expertly-placed cut-back to score with a single touch from outside of the box.
Of course, Chelsea fans opened their Twitter in expectation after the performance; and the Belgian was sure to deliver another amusing quip, as he so often does, demanding an upgrade in the upcoming FIFA title, much like he did last summer after moving to Chelsea:
The tweet kicked off a ribbing exchange between Michy and Sky journalist Fabrizio Romano, who quickly built a transfer rumour surrounding the player.
Batshuayi’s pre-season form has been something to marvel at, with the forward now on four goals in two games, having totalled a brace in the previous indoor friendly against Fulham.
We’re pretty sure EA are taking notice. But getting a regular run in the Blues side next season will require a little more than a Twitter request.
