Broja to miss the remainder of the season
Chelsea forward Armando Broja will miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season after suffering an ACL injury during a mid-season tour of Dubai.
The 21-year-old, who has made 12 competitive appearances this season, sustained the injury in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Aston Villa in Abu Dhabi.

Edouard Mendy – Chelsea goalkeeper has snubbed a new six-year contract at Stamford Bridge because he believes the club are not showing him enough “respect” over wages (The Sun, December 23)
Blues boss Graham Potter was asked about the situation in his press conference, and he didn’t give anything away.
“It’s not my place to speak publicly about a player’s contract situation,” Potter said. “That’s between them and the club.
“Mendy has been absolutely top with the club and with me, he’s a great guy, happy around the place.”
