Demba Ba returns to lead the attack and with Ramires suspended, Fernando Torres is expected to play wide on the right.

Frank Lampard continues as captain and is joined in midfield by Nathan Ake, making his first start at the Bridge.

David Luiz will partner Gary Cahill at the back and Europe League final scorer Branislav Ivanovic is right-back. There is a place on the bench for 17-year-old Andreas Christensen, a Danish centre-back in the run to the FA Youth Cup final.

With Leon Osman out for Everton, Steven Naismith comes into their midfield.
