?Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is demanding a new £120k-a-week deal in order to stay with Arsenal, amid interest from the Gunners’ Premier League rivals, according to reports.
The English midfielder is in the final year of his current contract, and has been attracting interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, but ?The Daily Star believes that he is ready to commit his future to the club, should Arsenal accept his wage demands.
It is believed that his present contract is £65k-a-week, meaning his demands are almost double his current earnings.
Arsene Wenger has reiterated throughout the window that Chamberlain will be an Arsenal player when the window closes this summer, his latest quotes come from the August 9.
“He is today very conscious of his qualities as well, which he was not always, and I personally believe he will be a very great player.”
